The Bergerie
The “Bergerie” which consists of the old Bergerie with its arched roof and the new annex, is completely constructed of natural stone. All the rooms are on a single floor (i.e. without stairs). The building has an area of 160 m2 (1700 sq ft) and easily hosts 6 (to 8) people.
In the old Bergerie you will find a large living room and in the annex a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and three large bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with two single beds. Each bedroom has his its shower, wash basin and toilet. The living room and all the bedrooms have a door leading to one of the terraces.
No detail has been forgotten. Ample bedding is available for your comfort. The beds are freshly made up and in the bathrooms you will find clean towels and sheets. Furthermore, you can arrange for food to be placed in your fridge.
The kitchen is a separate half-open room which enables you to maintain contact with the other guests. It is fully equipped with a fridge, a gas stove including a gas oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher and other modern conveniences. You will also find a wide range of pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen towels.
Natural materials, such as natural stone and plenty of wood — also in the bathrooms — give the guest rooms with a congenial atmosphere. During the wintertime, a mural heating system provides a cosy climate.
Satellite TV and a stereo system are also at your disposal. You will also find many other ordinary, yet useful, objects such as a vacuum cleaner and an iron.
An added attraction for music lovers is be the Schimmel baby grand piano in the dining room. The key is available upon request.
The bedrooms continue the main themes of the house: walls of natural stone adjoining walls painted in harmonious pastels and earth tones. The wooden floor has been treated with water-based natural oil. The house's wooden support beams are visible and glass panes have been place above some of the doors. Much attention has been paid to details to create a comfortable and aesthetic atmosphere. If you would like to use the house for 8 people, we will ad two beds in the biggest bedroom.
Children are more than welcome. A highchair and cot are available. (Please let us know upon reservation.)
Pets are permitted too under your supervision.
Smokers are requested to smoke outside.
